 Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is the messenger of Allah and the final prophet of Islam (According to the Quran and Sunnah). Muhammad is an Arabic name, meaning praiseworthy. Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born in the 6th century (570 CE) in Mecca. He was the son of Abdullah ibn Abdul-Muttalib, who died 6 months earlier the born of his son. When he was at the age of six, his mother Amina died leaving Muhamad as an orphan. He was taken care of by his grandfather, the tribal leader of Quraysh Abdul Mutalib ibn Hashim, and uncle Abu Talib. When the age of Muhammad was 8, His grandfather Abdul Mutalib died, and then he was cared for by his paternal uncle Abu Talib, who remained on his nephew’s side till death, he died at the age of 80 when Muhammad was 50 years old.

Hazrat Muhammad childhood

Muhammad grew up with her poster mother Hallemah bint Abi dhuayb, a Bedouin nurse who nurtured him. She took care of Muhammad (peace be upon him) from when he was just an eight-day-old baby till six years of boy. 

Muhammad was sent back to her mother Amina before she went to Yathrib to visit her husband's grave. On return she became ill and died, she was buried in the village of Abwa on the mecca-Madina Road.

He started trading at the age of nine or twelve when 1st time his uncle took him on a trade journey in Syria. He got the title Sadiq (the truthful) and Al-Amin (the trustworthy) in the field of trading.

At the age of 15, Muhammad (peace be upon him) saw the "Heretical" wars between the Quraysh and their partners Banu Kinanah on one side and Qays 'Aylan tribe on the other. The wars proceeded with shifting fortunes and impressive misfortune of human life for a number of a long time. It was in this way called since the inviolables were made violable, the denied months being included. In one of those fights, Muhammad (peace be upon him) went to on his uncles but did not raise arms against their rivals. His endeavors were kept to picking up the bolts of the adversary as they fell and giving them over to his uncles.

Married with Khadijah

Hazrat Khadijah bint khuawalid belonged to the tribe of Quraysh. She was a businesswoman and one of the richest woman in the mecca. At the age of 25, Muhammad (peace be upon him) went to Syria as a shipper for Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. Ibn Ishaq detailed that Khadijah was a businesswoman of incredible respect and fortune. She utilized men to do her trade for a certain rate of benefits. The Quraysh were for the most part tradespeople, so when Khadijah was educated about Muhammad, his honest words, awesome genuineness, and kind conduct, she sent for him. She gave him cash to go to Syria and do her commerce, and she would allow him the next rate than the others. She would too send her worker, Maysarah, with him. He concurred and went with her worker to Syria for exchange.

When Muhammad returned from Syria, Khadijah found more profit as compared to the previous trade. Her worker told her how Muhammad (peace be upon him) deals in trading, with honesty, sincerity, and deep thoughts. Due to his promising character, Khadija falls in love with him. She wanted to marry him and she sent a message by her servant Nafeesa to Muhammad (peace be upon him). He accepted the marriage proposal immediately, and he requested his uncle to visit Khadijah’s uncle and talk about their marriage. Luckily they agreed and they were married, witnessed by Bani Hashim and the heads of Mudar. Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave Khadijah twenty camels as the dower.

Prophethood 

At the age of forty Muhammad (peace be upon him) began to stay alone for long periods of time and away from the city. He was in a cave, named Hira in the Mount Jabal al-noor (mountain of light) where he started meditating and thinking about god mysterious creations. 



On 21 Ramadan, Angel Jibril appeared and commanded him, “ read”! Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied, “But I can not read”!. at that point the blessed messenger Gabriel grasped him firmly and after that uncovered to him the primary lines of chapter 96 of the Qur'an, "Perused: Within the title of Allah Who created, (1) Made man from a clot. (2) Examined: And Allah is the Foremost Liberal, (3) Who instructed by the write, (4) Instructed man that which he knew not. (5)" (Bukhari 4953). He rehashed the verses and came running domestic trembling and gasping. He was scared and said to his wife Khadija, cover me! With a blanket or cloak. She covered him until he felt secure and relaxed. He explained the incident to Hira and said he was extremely shocked and afraid. His wife attempted to relieve him and calm down him saying, "Allâh will never disrespect you. You join together uterine relations; you bear the burden of the powerless; you offer assistance to the destitute and the poor, you engage the visitors and persevere hardships within the way of honesty and truthfulness." She took him to her cousin Warqa (a Christian scholar), who recognised and told, Muhammad(peace be upon him)! You are a prophet. Then he realized the importance of the responsibility that was given to him.

Message of Islam

During 1st three years of Muhammad's (peace be upon him) prophethood, he preached Islam privately, mainly to his family, friends, and close relatives. At the 1st to believe him was his wife Khadija, and in the children's was his cousin Hazrat Ali, and in man was Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique. In the fourth year of his prophethood, by the order of Allah! He announced publicly his propagation of believing monotheistic faith.

Journey of Isra and Miraj

The journey of Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Jerusalem is called Isra, while from Jerusalem to Heaven is called Miraj.

The 27th of Rajab* is accepted to be the night in which the cherished Prophet (peace be upon him) set out on the popular night travel known as “Shab-e-Meraj”.

Allah rose the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the Arch of the Shake through the skies, where he not as it were saw numerous marvelous sights and various blessed messengers, he moreover met the past Prophets (as). Along the way, he was welcomed with fervor and enchantment, as his entry had been much-anticipated. Muhammad (peace be upon him) met Hazrat Adam (as) at first heaven. He further moved with Jibril (as) to second heaven, and met the maternal cousins, the prophet Isa (as) and Yahya (as). 

At the third sky prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) met half of the world's beautiful prophet Yousuf (as). In the fourth Heaven, he met the prophet Idres(as). At the fifth sky, he met prophet Harun(as), and at 6th heaven met with prophet Harun's younger brother prophet Musa(as). At last, seventh heaven prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) met his greatest ancestor prophet Ibrahim (as) who was reclining his back against al-bait al-Ma’mur, and there entered into it seventy thousand blessing angels each day. 


(Bait al-Ma’mur is the Ka'bah of the angels who reside in the seventh heaven, literally means ‘the much-visited House’. It is the heavenly Ka‘bah directly above the one on earth).


Returning home

Finally Muhammad (peace be upon him) back home from Heaven to Masjid Al-Aqsa and returned to Makkah on Buraq. 

As he (peace be upon him) was transported domestically, he saw different caravans heading towards Makkah, which he would afterward portray to the Quraish as confirmation that he truly had made this marvelous travel. Allah indeed showed Trap al-Maqdis to the Prophet (peace be upon him), whereas the Quraish were cross-examining him within the Hijr of the Ka‘bah [Bukhari].
