Importance of Judiciary in Pakistan
The judiciary is one of the most important organs of government, which is primarily concerned with the explanation of the law. It interpreted the law, explains the law, and clarifies the law. It provides justice to the people.
Judiciary in Pakistan
The judiciary was established in pakistan in 1956. Pakistan's judiciary has been divided into two categories, the higher judiciary, and the lower judiciary. The superior or higher judiciary is composed of the supreme court and federal Shariat court and five high courts. High courts are present in four provinces and the capital Islamabad. The judiciary dependency changes over time, the military in pakistan used to be in politics whereas the judiciary used to differ the politics and military. The Judiciary is no more independent to follow the rule and regulations, the military has its own laws and political parties emerging the judges for their own desires. Nowadays there is only a judiciaries system without justice. In the case of missing persons, judiciaries asked the military to appear in courts while the military is not taken seriously. The judges have two opinions in political parties like Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan cases. Nawaz Sharif was imprisoned for 10 years and disqualified for elections. Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik sentenced former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills case while many other judges are not agreeing with the court justice, and also some audio and videos were found that show the dependency of judges. The same thing had done in Imran Khan Toshakhan's case. Judge Humayun Dilawar sentenced former prime minister Imran Khan to 3 years and disqualified him for 5 years then the judge flew to London immediately. The PTI party and most of the Advocates and judges disagreed with the decision made by Judge Humayun Dilawar. These cases violated court rules which are showing the involvement of judiciaries with politics and military involvement.
